Description
Water Determination Using the Headspace Technique
The AQUA 40.00 Vario combines Karl Fischer titration with the headspace technique, offering a wide range of applications for determining moisture in solid and pasty samples, oils, and viscous compounds.
Sample preparation is carried out using the dynamic headspace technique. The sample — sealed in a closed vial — is placed into the headspace oven and kept at a controlled temperature.
A closed-loop system with dry carrier gas flows over the sample, transporting the extracted water directly into the measuring cell, where the analysis is performed via Karl Fischer titration.
