XRF NEX QC Spectrometer

Description

NEX QC is a robust and powerful benchtop Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) elemental analyzer.
It can be used for quality control in industrial production processes thanks to its ease of use. It is provided ready for your sector analyses.
- Mining
- Petrochemical
- Fuel oils, lubricants
- Wood treatment
- Cement
- Food and cosmetics
- Plastics and polymers
- Didactic purposes

The shuttered 50kV X-ray tube and Peltier cooled semiconductor detector deliver exceptional short-term repeatability and long-term reproducibility with excellent element peak resolution.
This high voltage capability (50 kV), along with multiple automated X-ray tube filters, provides a wide range of XRF applications versatility and low limits-of-detection (LOD).
NEX QC enables precise multi-element analysis with ultra-low ppm concentrations from Sodium (NA11) to Uranium (U92).
These features enable the analysis of a wide range of samples:
- Solids
- Liquids
- Powder
- Paste
- Films

No gas is required to operate the NEX QC, thus significantly reducing management costs.

The advantages of NEX QC analysis are:
- No or minimal sample preparation required
- Easy sample insertion
- Fast results (30-60 seconds)

Some examples of applications:
- Sulphur in diesel oils (Astm D4294)
- Sulphur and chlorine in used oils
- Silicon drift on paper and plastics
- Cement oxides
- Ceramics oxides
- Metals in lubricants (ASTM D8127 – ASTM D7751 – ASTM D6481)

Rigaku ART
