AUTOMATIC CLEVELAND FLASH & FIRE POINT (COC) NCL 440
NORMALAB NCL 440 allows to automatically determine the flash point in compliance with the following methods: ASTM D92 , ISO 2592, IP36, DIN/EN 22592, JIS K2265, NF/EN 22592, EN 22592.
Operation and measurement principle:
The operator fills the testing cup with the sample and inserts it in the analyzer. The testing methods are selected from the list or changed according to need. Then the fire point can be set.
The test is run by simply pressing a button.
At regular temperature ranges, a small gas flame is exposed to the surface, only once, as required by the method.
When the detector measures the flash point, the value is displayed on the screen and saved into non-volatile memory. If fire point measurement is required, the test continues until fire point measurement is complete. Then the test is completed and the flame is turned off.
The lid automatically closes the cup at the end of the test procedure.
Auto-sampling unit available as option.
When the analyzer is equipped with an auto-sampling unit (6 sample positions), the operator selects the testing cup to be used for the first test. The test then runs automatically for all the 6 samples.
NCL 440 includes a large screen (1/4 VGA) and an alphanumeric keyboard.
The sample temperature is clearly visible from a distance of 5 meters. The main information regarding the test underway can be displayed. In addition, other tests can be programmed and previous results can be displayed.
Furthermore, diagnostic/maintenance and calibration functions are available.
